Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a Physical Therapist – PRN to cover inpatient therapy on weekends and backfill PTO. You will assess and treat patients, develop personalized plans, educate families, and monitor progress within a collaborative hospital setting.

This role requires Indiana licensure as a Physical Therapist and current CPR certification. New grads are welcome, with options to grow clinically and in leadership through a supportive team and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in Indiana with CPR certification.
• Clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients referred to the Physical Therapy department.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and patient goals.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, therapy plans, and home exercises.
• Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and prepare discharge recommendations.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in staff meetings and case management.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, rehab techs, and volunteers.
• Participate in departmental initiatives and student programs.
