Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a Physical Therapist to join a collaborative, patient-focused therapy team. You’ll assess, treat, and guide patients through personalized recovery plans, working with a multidisciplinary group to improve outcomes and the patient experience.

We welcome both experienced therapists and new graduates. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy, Indiana license, CPR, and flexibility to work weekends; day-one benefits and growth opportunities are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in Indiana
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients referred to the Physical Therapy department.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and patient goals.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, therapy plans, and home exercises.
• Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and prepare discharge recommendations.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in staff meetings and case management.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, rehab techs, and volunteers.
• Participate in departmental initiatives and student programs
