Job summary

Unify Health Services in Hanover, MD is seeking an Athletic Trainer/Industrial Specialist to deliver on-site injury prevention for our industrial workforce. This PRN role requires flexibility to cover shifts Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 9 PM, with hours not guaranteed.

You will conduct pre-employment screenings, provide body mechanics training, ergonomic assessments, and support wellness and work-simulation programs while ensuring health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Athletic trainer credentials required or preferred.
• Experience in injury prevention and rehabilitation is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-employment screenings.
• Provide body mechanics training and job coaching.
• Perform ergonomic assessments and wellness/work-simulation programs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols at client sites.
• Track and report program metrics to HR/safety teams.

What Youll Do

Key Responsibilities

• Promote health initiatives and engage with staff
• Collaborate with HR safety teams and management
• Track and report program metrics

Physical Demands

• Frequent walking sitting and computer use
• Working in a safety sensitive environment
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
