Job summary

Franciscan Health Dyer Campus is seeking a Physical Therapist I to evaluate and treat patients within hospital and department guidelines. The role includes directing PTAs and Rehab Technicians, plus implementing care plans and documentation to support quality improvement.

The position offers 1:1 therapist/patient focus, mentorship, and PRN shifts with weekend and holiday differential. Opportunities exist to work at various Franciscan Health therapy locations, with a team-based, adaptable work

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited program is required.
• Must have a valid license or temporary permit for the applicable state.
• Experienced and new graduate Physical Therapists eligible.
• Adapt and respond quickly to changing priorities.
• Ability and willingness to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation and treatment of patients within legal and professional guidelines and department policies.
• Instruct and direct Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Technicians as assigned.
• Evaluate and implement the plan of care to improve, restore and enhance physical function.
• Complete documentation and participate in quality improvement per departmental policies.

The Physical Therapist I is responsible for providing evaluation and treatment of the patient within the parameters of legal and professional guidelines, and hospital and departmental policies and procedures. The Physical Therapist instructs and directs Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Technicians as assigned. This position evaluates and implements the plan of care to improve, restore and enhance physical functional performance, and promote injury prevention. The Physical Therapist performs documentation and quality improvement, as outlined in departmental policies and procedures.
