Physical Therapist/Physical Therapist Assistant

The Pediatric Therapy Center’s mission is to equip children with the skills necessary to grow and develop to their fullest potential. We strive to provide quality therapy services to children alongside their families/caregivers. Our goal is for each child to learn how to play, function, and be successful in all they do.

Position Description

This is a full-time/part-time on-site position at the Pediatric Therapy Center in Wichita, KS. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing patient care, rehabilitation services, and home care for children in need of physical therapy.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Valid Physical Therapist Assistant Certification and passing score for the NPTE.
2. Current, valid license in the state of Kansas.
3. Minimum of 2 years of pediatric experience preferred.
4. Knowledge of pediatric development, physical therapy techniques, and evidence-based practices.
5. Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with children, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
6. Compassionate, patient, and creative approach to working with pediatric patients.
7. Ability to adapt to individual needs and provide a fun, engaging, and positive therapeutic environment.
8. CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
9. Strong organizational skills and caseload management.
10. Ability to utilize therapeutic computer applications for billing and documentation.
11. Maintain CEU requirements as specified by KSBOHA.
