We Are Hiring
  • Department:Physical Therapy
  • Schedule:Full time, 40 hrs/week, day shift, Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm with variable weekends and holidays 7:30 am - 4 pm
  • Hospital: AscensionVia Christi
  • Location:Wichita, Kansas
What You Will Do

Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist.

  • Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist.
  • Perform therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population.
  • Document treatment interventions given.
  • May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel.
What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy Asst credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences

Acute care experience
