+ **Department:** Physical Therapy - Shannon Woods

+ **Schedule:** Full-time, Monday - Friday; Expectation for Therapist to be available 2 early times- 7-715, & 2 late times- 6pm; Fridays 1/2 day done by noon

**Responsibilities**

Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist.

+ Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist.

+ Perform therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population.

+ Document treatment interventions given.

+ May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel.

**Requirements**

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Required Credential(s):

+ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

+ Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy Asst credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

+ High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

**Additional Preferences**

Associate Degree Certified Physical Therapy Assistant

Orthopedic/sports experience or has passion for orthopedic/sports
