We Are Hiring

• Department: Physical Therapy
• Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm, rotating weekends & holidays
• Hospital: Via Christi Rehab Hospital
• Location: 1151 N Rock Road, Wichita, KS 67206

What You Will Do

Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.

• Provide physical therapy interventions according to a plan of care written by a physical therapist.
• Perform therapy interventions utilizing appropriate techniques and skills for the patient population.
• Document all treatment interventions accurately.
• Coordinate activities with physical therapy aides, students, and support personnel as needed.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer date; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy Assistant credential from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts prior to hire or transfer.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of relevant experience OR an Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable experience.
