Qualifications

  • New graduates are encouraged to apply; prior physical therapy experience is a plus.
  • Active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Massachusetts.

What you’ll do:

Provide physical therapy in an outpatient surgical center, serving patients who had knee and hip procedures.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Assess and assist post-op patients with appropriate assistive devices, instruct in and establish independent functional mobility, gait on level and stairs, transfers (toilet and car), and instruct in an established home exercise program.

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply; prior physical therapy experience is a plus. Medical office experience preferred.
  • Active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Massachusetts.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to identify and implement components of the physical therapy process.
  • Ability to teach patients and families, identifying learning needs.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate with teams and individuals.
  • Knowledge of professional standards of practice.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, insurance regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Proficiency with computers and relevant software applications.
