Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a qualified per diem Physical Therapist for our Outpatient Department in Somerville, NJ. The therapist will provide services in accordance with the New Jersey Practice Act, accreditation standards, and the APTA Code of Ethics. Our facility offers specialized programs for managing conditions such as Parkinson's Disease, Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, and Lymphedema.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (Doctorate or Master's)
• Licensed in NJ

Preferred:

• Active membership in a professional organization
• Experience with Post Stroke and post-surgical patients

Certifications and Licenses:

• BLS certification through the American Heart Association

Pelvic Floor, LSVT Certification, and Lymphedema Certification are appreciated but not mandatory.

Scheduling:

• Day Shift
• Per Diem Schedule

Essential Functions:

• Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
• Evaluate patients referred by physicians, podiatrists, dentists, or nurse practitioners
• Develop and implement treatment plans to improve impairments, restore function, and develop skills for adaptive living
• Participate in PI and clinical education programs
