What you’ll do:

Provide physical therapy in an outpatient surgical center, serving patients who had knee and hip procedures.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Size and fit post-op patients with the appropriate assistive device.
• Instruct and establish independent functional mobility, gait on level and stairs, commode and car transfers.
• Instruct in an established home exercise program.

Who you are:

Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply; prior physical therapy experience is a plus. Medical office experience preferred.
• Active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Massachusetts.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Ability to identify and implement components of the physical therapy process.
• Ability to teach patients and families, and identify learning needs.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and collaboration abilities.
• Working knowledge of professional standards and ability to apply them.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, insurance regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Proficiency with personal computer and relevant software applications.
