Location: MOSA Physical Therapy Offices (430 Middletown, 211 S. Main, Westbrook, Hebron, Marlborough)
Work Hours: Per Diem: Offices are open Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 7:00 pm

What you’ll do:
Responsibilities/Duties:
Provides physical therapy services including evaluations and treatment in accordance with policy and procedures of state laws and the professional code of ethics.
Designs, implements, and modifies therapeutic interventions that may include, but are not limited to, therapeutic exercise, functional training, manual therapy (including soft tissue and joint mobilization); physical agents or modalities; and patient-related instruction (including home exercise program).
Responsible for accurate and legible documentation included but not limited to initial evaluations, SOAP notes and flow sheets for each patient visit; re-evaluations (every 30 days or 10 visits for Medicare patients whichever comes first) and the documented discharge of the patient. Documentation will be completed in a timely manner that is consistent with all laws and regulatory requirements.
Maintain complete and accurate billing practices. Assists front desk in maintaining authorizations.
Practices in a safe manner that minimizes risk to patients, self, and others.
Supervises assistive personnel (and when appropriate students) to assure safe care.
Responsible for the ongoing development of clinical skills through continuing education programs, professional contacts, journal articles, and participation in professional organization.
Participation in the OAM student physical therapy program.
Assist and participate in in-service presentations after attending continuing education courses or as requested.
Maintains work area in a clean and orderly fashion. Responsible for the care and maintenance of facility equipment including reporting faulty equipment and light housekeeping duties as requested.
Adheres to proper work schedule and does not have excessive tardiness or absenteeism.
Complies with OAM/MOS dress code policy – surgical scrubs.
Responsible for reporting problems or issues to the Physical Therapy Manager.
Reports to Physical Therapy Manager.
Performs other duties as assigned.

DPT Preferred
Licensed Physical Therapist
BLS certification
Orthopedic Focus: 1-2 years
