Mariner Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat residents with various physical disabilities, relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing through exercise, heat, ultrasound, massage, and other modalities.
The role requires a California license, and candidates should have a plan to maintain patient records, supervise assistants if applicable, and perform home assessments when appropriate. A Covid-19 vaccine is required to work in our facilities.
Physical Therapist (PT) evaluates and treats residents and patients with temporary or long term physical disabilities to relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing by applying the therapeutic properties of exercise, heat, ultrasound, massage and other forms of treatment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Under a physician’s order, performs the following within scope of practice and federal guidelines:
May provide onsite supervision to Physical Therapist Assistants, Rehab Aides, and provisional physical therapists per state practice guidelines.
