Mariner Healthcare in Fremont, CA is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat residents with temporary or long-term physical disabilities, relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing using exercise, heat, ultrasound, massage, and other therapies.
You will work under physician orders, perform assessments, maintain records, educate patients and families, and participate in discharge planning to ensure safe home environments.
Physical Therapist (PT) evaluates and treats residents and patients with temporary or long term physical disabilities to relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing by applying the therapeutic properties of exercise, heat, ultrasound, massage and other forms of treatment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Under a physician’s order, performs the following within scope of practice and federal guidelines:
May provide onsite supervision to Physical Therapist Assistants, Rehab Aides, and provisional physical therapists per state practice guidelines.
