Fremont Healthcare Center is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate and treat residents and patients with physical disabilities, aiming to relieve pain and restore function using exercise, heat, ultrasound and other therapies.
The role requires a PT degree (BSc or MSc), a current license, and CA COVID mandates compliance. One year of clinical experience is preferred; benefits include medical, dental, 401K and PTO.
Physical Therapist (PT) evaluates and treats residents and patients with temporary or long term physical disabilities to relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing by applying the therapeutic properties of exercise, heat, ultrasound, massage and other forms of treatment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Under a physician’s order, performs the following within scope of practice and federal guidelines:
May provide onsite supervision to Physical Therapist Assistants, Rehab Aides, and provisional physical therapists per state practice guidelines.
