Mariner Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat residents with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions, following physician orders and an established plan of care.
You will administer tests, interpret results, document progress, and educate residents and families on mobility devices and home safety. California licensure and COVID-19 vaccination are required. Prior clinical experience preferred.
Physical Therapist (PT) evaluates and treats residents and patients with temporary or long term physical disabilities to relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing by applying the therapeutic properties of exercise, heat, ultrasound, massage and other forms of treatment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Under a physician’s order, performs the following within scope of practice and federal guidelines:
May provide onsite supervision to Physical Therapist Assistants, Rehab Aides, and provisional physical therapists per state practice guidelines.
