Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Grosse Pointe in Detroit, MI is seeking a Physical Therapist for a PRN/Per Diem role on the 6th floor of Henry Ford-St John Hospital. No weekends and a $2,000 sign-on bonus are offered.

The therapist will provide comprehensive rehab to critically ill patients and participate in discharge planning and education. The role includes supervising PTAs and students, conducting regular patient assessments, and documenting care per department policies.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients/families.
• Set goals and develop treatment plans.
• Supervise PTs, PTAs, and students as assigned.
