Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital-Tulsa is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our inpatient post-ICU care team. This PRN/As Needed role offers a pay rate of $58.00 per hour and a $5,000 sign-on bonus, with no weekend requirements.

You will perform patient assessments, develop treatment plans, supervise PTAs, and contribute to discharge planning while providing education to patients and families. Extensive orientation and opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Supervise PTAs and PT/PTA students.
• Document care per department policies.
• Participate in discharge planning and equipment education.

Responsibilities

• Performing initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.
• Setting goals and developing treatment plans.
• Working cooperatively to identify and solve patient-specific and facility-wide needs.
• Participating in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment.
• Supervising Physical Therapy Assistants, as well as supervising PT and PTA students.
• Conducting individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitoring patient's response to treatment and modifying treatment during sessions, as needed.
• Completing appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Participating in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
