Full time, 40 hours per week, Pay Range $38.20 - $57.30.

What You'll Need

What You'll Do
  • Adhere to general hospital standards, utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships, and team building to promote a cooperative work environment. Follow hospital and departmental policies and procedures, contributing to overall quality of services and staying informed about changes.
  • Provide patient care assessment and treatment, ensuring evaluations and treatments are comprehensive, functional, and in accordance with the Standard of Practice. Interpret evaluation results, establish realistic treatment plans, encourage patients and significant others in goal setting, respond to changes in patient physiologic state, recommend next level of care, and supervise support staff with direction and feedback.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, completing written patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes per policy. Document patient/family education, charges, departmental statistics, and ICD-10 codes accurately and timely, keeping records in a systematic order and ensuring legibility.
  • Meet department financial and productivity standards, understanding budgeted expectations and adjusting individual schedules to meet patient and departmental needs.
  • Participate in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services, identifying quality and operational opportunities, communicating progress barriers, researching and suggesting evidence‑based best practices.
  • Promote professional development and education of other health care workers, providing representation on committees, conducting in‑service training programs, staying aware of local, state, and national developments, and sharing clinical expertise with therapists, student affiliates, and other professionals.
  • Communicate effectively in a professional and timely manner with patients, physicians, staff, and all external customers; promote an open communication atmosphere, share seminar learnings, and inform supervisors of issues and resolutions.
  • Provide appropriate patient care in accordance with age/developmental guidelines, demonstrating and updating knowledge of growth, development, and aging, and interpreting age/developmentally specific responses to treatment accurately.
