Position: Physical Therapist - Pediatrics

Location: Auburn, ME

Schedule: Monday through Friday

PRN and part-time positions are also available.

Saco Bay Kids is seeking a pediatric Physical Therapist to join our fun, collaborative multi-disciplinary team.

We evaluate and treat a variety of pediatric patients with diagnoses ranging from sensory processing, emotional regulation, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, feeding disorders, visual motor deficits, and more.

Our team of 12 PTs, OTs, and SLPs offers a comprehensive list of therapy programs and services all under one roof, including orthopedics, pediatrics (PT & OT), speech-language pathology for both adults and children, pelvic floor therapy, sports medicine, dry needling, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, hand therapy, ReVital cancer rehabilitation, and more. Responsibilities:

• High Standard of Care: Understand and adhere to the state Practice Act and laws governing PT practice and supervision.
• Collaborative Approach: Develop patient goals and determine the type, frequency, and duration of therapy in collaboration with the referring physician.
• Leadership: Supervise and delegate physical therapy care within state and federal guidelines.
• Personalized Treatment: Provide individualized treatment programs, complete patient care responsibilities, and documentation.
• Innovative Opportunities: Participate in designing and implementing new programs or procedures with managerial and physician approval, following HIPAA guidelines.
