Summary

The Home Care Pediatric PT supports MaineHealth Care at Home's (MHCAH) mission, vision, and values by exhibiting behaviors such as excellence, competence, collaboration, innovation, respect, patient and family-centered care, community commitment, and accountability. The PT provides high-quality, evidence-based, patient-family-centered care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation, adhering to national standards and policies of MHCAH and Maine State regulations.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
• License/Certifications: Maine licensure as a Physical Therapist, current driver’s license, and BLS certification.
• Experience: Minimum one year of full-time equivalent supervised experience.
• Interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Analytical skills to identify patient condition changes and initiate appropriate actions.
