Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across the therapeutic continuum. You will perform assessments, develop individualized care plans with physicians, and guide patients through therapy to achieve goals.

Role involves providing or directing therapies, communicating with patients and families, and coordinating care with the multidisciplinary team to ensure positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and treatments within scope of practice.
• Assess patient status and contribute to the total plan of care.
• Provide home-based therapy according to physician’s plan of care.
• Instruct patients/family in exercises and use of therapeutic devices for home use.
• Coordinate caseload and staffing needs.
