Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the State of North Carolina
• CPR certification required every two years.
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited physical therapy school required

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care assessment and treatment following Standard of Practice.
• Maintains accurate patient evaluations, progress notes, discharge notes and ICD-9 codes as appropriate.
• Meets department productivity and budgeted expectations; adjusts schedules to patient/department needs.
• Participates in process improvements to optimize quality and efficiency of services.
• Supervises PT and PTA students to develop clinical skills and ensure quality care.
• Communicates professionally with patients, physicians and staff.
• Adheres to age/developmental guidelines in patient care.
