The Physical Therapist designs and implements individualized treatment programs to maximize patient functional independence and quality of life. This role includes evaluating the effectiveness of treatment plans and modifying interventions as needed to achieve optimal outcomes. The therapist assesses and treats patients with cancer-related disabilities, delivering specialized, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities include providing education and instruction to patients and caregivers to support therapy participation and safe discharge planning, as well as documenting all interventions and communications with healthcare professionals in a timely and accurate manner. The Physical Therapist also participates in ongoing educational and professional development programs and may supervise physical therapy clinical interns and physical therapy assistants as required.
Starting hourly rate is $40.36 which includes a geographical differential of $3.36 per hour. The listed pay rate is the potential compensation for this role. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
The preferred candidate should have experience in a acute/oncology/outpatient setting, EMR, and strong management/communication skills.
