Job summary

Indiana University Health in Martinsville, IN is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist for our outpatient rehabilitation team. This full-time role provides direct patient care, supervises PT assistants and students, and supports department operations to restore function and reduce disability.

A doctoral or equivalent PT degree, Indiana license, and BLS are required; advanced life support may be needed depending on the unit. The position offers competitive benefits and PTO.

This is a full-time position for our Outpatient Physical Therapy team at IU Health-Morgan.

Provides physical therapy services to restore function, reduce pain and prevent disability following disease or injury, and assists patients to reach maximum performance levels. Provides all components of direct patient care including supervision of physical therapist assistants, support personnel and students. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.

• Requires a Doctoral Degree from an accredited academic program in physical therapy or a Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in physical therapy prior to 2016. If foreign trained, graduation from a physical therapy education program outside the US with educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA.
• Requires current Physical Therapist license in the State of Indiana.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
