Job summary

Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a full-time Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our Hanover Center team. The role provides patient-centered PT services for neurological conditions, including examination, treatment planning, documentation, and team communication.

Supervision of staff and rotation through clinical areas may occur. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited PT program, Virginia licensure or eligibility, CPR certification, and a Doctoral degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient rehabilitation is preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program is required.
• Virginia licensure to practice or eligibility is required.
• Healthcare professionals CPR certification is required.
• Doctoral degree from an accredited PT program and/or specialty certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients (ages 12+) and develop a treatment plan.
• Provide therapy services, document progress, and communicate with the care team.
• Supervise and direct licensed and non-licensed staff and interns.
• May rotate through clinical areas as needed.

Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a full-timeOutpatient Physical Therapist to join our team. This position is based out of the Hanover Center and will treat neurological conditions. The Physical Therapist provides quality, comprehensive, patient-centered physical therapy services including patient examination (ages 12+), development and administration of a treatment plan, documentation and communication with team members, and clinical direction and supervision to licensed/non-licensed personnel. Instructs therapy support staff, students, other team members, and patient and/or caregivers. May rotate through clinical areas.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience/expertise in outpatient rehabilitation preferred

Education/Certifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy educational program required.
• Virginia licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure by the Physical Therapy Board of the Virginia State Board of Health Professions required.
• Healthcare professionals CPR certification required.
• Doctoral degree from an accredited physical therapy programs and/or specialty practice certification preferred.

Compensation

• $38.00 - $56.00 per hour
• This range reflects our commitment to pay equity and market‑competitive compensation.
• Final compensation depends on experience, skills, and internal equity.
