Piedmont Walton Hospital in Monroe, GA, is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join a collaborative rehab team providing inpatient and outpatient services.

You will evaluate and treat patients across the lifespan, use modalities, and support a staff including PT assistants; cross-training and comprehensive care are encouraged.

This full-time role offers scheduling flexibility, a commitment to quality outcomes, and opportunities to grow within Piedmont Walton Hospital.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (BS/MS/DPT) required.
• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or GA Compact privileges required.
• BCLS certification required.
• Maintain CEUs as required by state.

Overview:

Join a collaborative and compassionate therapy team at Piedmont Walton, where we provide both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services designed to support patients across a broad spectrum of needs. Our inpatient therapy team-consisting of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology-is staffed seven days a week with flexible, varied schedules. We care for a diverse inpatient population, including orthopedic, neurologic, oncology, and generalized debility cases. Our outpatient department offers Physical and Occupational Therapy services, and due to fluctuating volumes, our outpatient clinicians are encouraged to be cross-trained for inpatient care to help maintain productivity while prioritizing excellent patient outcomes. Responsibilities:

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT Required
• Must maintain current CEU's as by the State

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA Required
