Pay Range: $41.10 - $61.65 per hour

Qualifications

• Provides patient care assessment and treatment, ensuring evaluations and treatments are comprehensive, functional, and according to the Standard of Practice.
• Maintains accurate patient documentation, including written evaluations, progress notes, discharge notes, patient/family education, charges, departmental statistics, and ICD codes as appropriate.
• Meets department financial and productivity standards, understands budgeted expectations, and adjusts individual schedules as needed.
• Participates in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services, identifying quality and operational opportunities.
• Promotes professional development and education of other health care workers; provides representation on committees; conducts in‑service training programs.
• Supervises physical therapy and physical therapy assistant students to develop clinical skills and ensure quality patient care.
• Communicates professionally and timely with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers.
• Provides appropriate patient care in accordance with age/developmental guidelines, demonstrating specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Adheres to general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment through effective communication, interpersonal relationships, and team building.
