Job summary

ChristianaCare is hiring a full-time outpatient Physical Therapist at the Middletown Rehabilitation Site. Two evenings per week are required.

You will provide Physical Therapy for individuals requiring rehabilitation after injury or disease, treating neurologic patients in a blended neurologic and orthopedic clinic. Primary duties include evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment programs, documenting care, reviewing records, educating patients and families, and coordinating

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Delaware.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and re-evaluate patients in a timely manner.
• Establish appropriate treatment programs with achievable goals.
• Complete all documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Review active patient records.
• Provide patient and family education and training.
• Maintain communication with referral sources about patient care.

Primary Function:

To provide Physical Therapy for individuals requiring rehabilitation after injury or disease process. In this position you will be treating neurologic patients in a blended neurologic and orthopedic clinic.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and re-evaluate patients in a timely manner
• Establish appropriate treatment programs that include goals to be attained
• Complete all documentation relating to patient care, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Review active patient records
• Provide patient and family education and training
• Maintain written and verbal communication with referral sources concerning patient care

Education and Experience Requirements:

• BS, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Delaware

Hourly Pay Range: $36.10 - $57.76This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
