Job summary

ChristianaCare seeks a full-time inpatient Physical Therapist at the Newark campus, the largest in our network. Therapists deliver patient care in ICUs, the Emergency Department, therapy gyms, and at the bedside.

This campus supports specialty programs including a Level 1 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Treatment Center, and Regional Center of Excellence in Heart and Vascular care and Cancer Care. Variable shifts may be available, with opportunities for clinical instruction and growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an APTA-approved program in Physical Therapy.
• CPR certification required.
• Current Delaware license or eligibility for Delaware license.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient physical therapy to patients in ICUs, the Emergency Department, therapy gyms, and at the bedside.
• Collaborate with care teams to develop and implement plans of care.
• Participate in variable shifts and contribute to patient throughput and outcomes.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate graduate of an A.P.T.A. approved school of Physical Therapy
• CPR Certification required

Hourly Pay Range: $35.39 - $56.63This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
