Job summary

Mercy Lincoln is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients.

Under supervision of Therapy Leadership, you will supervise patients directly, supervise rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants, and ensure care aligns with Mercy standards.

Qualifications

• Valid physical therapy licensure in state of practice.
• BLS certification.
• Six months to one year of rehab PT experience preferred for adult/geriatric care.
• Education as specified: BPT/MS/DPT or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision of patients; indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• Supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.

Responsible for direct supervision to patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians. General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Shift: Per Diem

Education:

Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

Licensure:

Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.

Certifications:

BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.

Preferred Experience:

Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist. Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
