Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to assess adults and geriatric patients under Therapy Leadership, developing individualized treatment programs and supervising rehab staff as appropriate.

Requirements include a Bachelor's, MS in PT or DPT, licensure in the state, and BLS certification. Prior experience with adult and geriatric care is preferred.

  • Direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians; supervise PT assistants as per state acts.

Experience

Certifications: BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.

Preferred Experience: Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist. Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients.

Physical Requirements
  • Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
  • Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
