Job summary

Illinois Bone & Joint Institute (IBJI) seeks Physical Therapists to join our collaborative outpatient rehabilitation team in the Chicagoland area. We focus on exceptional patient care, clinical growth, and strong collaboration with orthopedic physicians to optimize function and recovery.

New physical therapy graduates are welcome. We offer two- to three-month mentorship and an Orthopedic Residency Program with full salary while working a reduced schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds as needed and move throughout the workday.
• Ability to work with electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician orders, perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide exceptional, evidence-based patient care and monitor progress.
• Modify treatment plans and goals as needed based on progress.
• Establish discharge plans and follow-up recommendations.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure billing compliance.
• Collaborate with IBJI physicians and supervise staff as appropriate.
• Maintain Illinois PT license and complete required CEUs.
• Participate in mentoring, clinical education and community outreach.
