Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT/DPT).
• Active state Physical Therapist license and current CPR certification.
• At least 2 years of hands-on physical therapy experience in an outpatient setting.
• Leadership or supervisory experience of 2+ years is strongly preferred.

One of our clients is looking for an experienced Physical Therapist Manager to lead a busy outpatient clinic. If you enjoy treating patients and also want to shape how a clinic runs, from team development to operations and quality of care, this role gives you room to do both.

About the Role

You'll oversee daily clinic operations and lead a team of rehabilitation professionals. You'll still take part in patient assessment and treatment while setting direction for the department. You'll build rehab programs, mentor clinicians, keep the clinic compliant and cost-effective, and make sure every patient gets a consistently high standard of care.

What You'll Do

• Put clinic policies and procedures into practice across all physical therapy processes, and keep them followed
• Develop short-term and long-term plans and objectives for rehabilitation services, and lead the team toward service goals
• Handle daily staffing, scheduling, and resource planning so the clinic runs smoothly
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing supervision of clinical staff
• Review monthly performance metrics and complete performance evaluations on time
• Run regular team and clinic meetings to keep everyone aligned and informed
• Oversee the purchasing of clinic supplies and manage the department budget
• Protect the rights and dignity of both patients and employees
• Become an expert user of the clinic's software systems and help the team use them well
• Lead by example and model strong professional and behavioral standards
• Take on other responsibilities as the clinic's needs evolve

What You Bring

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT/DPT)
• Active state Physical Therapist license and current CPR certification
• At least 2 years of hands-on physical therapy experience in an outpatient setting
• Leadership or supervisory experience of 2+ years is strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of PT principles alongside business fundamentals such as budgeting, staffing, quality audits, and Total Quality Management (TQM)
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust with patients, families, staff, and leadership
• A natural teacher who can educate patients and colleagues on PT concepts and techniques
• A cost-conscious mindset and the ability to run an efficient department
• Standard outpatient clinic setting, with occasional local travel within the community
• The role involves sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and patient transfers, along with regular computer work
