MSH is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to step into a Clinic Manager role in a therapist-led private practice in Arizona. This player-coach position blends ongoing patient care with leadership of a clinical team and performance of the clinic.

You'll work with top surgical specialists, have access to research collaboration, mentorship, and a strong support structure to focus on patient care and team growth.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT/DPT) and active AZ PT license (or eligibility) with CPR certification.
• 2+ years of outpatient physical therapy experience.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and quality management.

One of our clients, a therapist-led private practice, is expanding and looking for an experienced Physical Therapist to step into a Clinic Manager role. This is a player-coach position: you'll continue treating patients while leading a clinical team and shaping how the clinic runs day to day.

You'll work alongside some of the region's top surgical specialists and have access to research collaboration, mentorship, and a strong support structure that lets you focus on great patient care and team growth.

About the Role

As Clinic Manager, you'll oversee the physical therapy department's operations, people, and performance. You'll drive continuous improvement across financial results, clinic growth, team development, patient experience, and quality of care, while maintaining an active patient caseload.

What You'll Do

• Lead, supervise, and support a team of therapists and clinic staff
• Treat patients as a practicing Physical Therapist
• Put clinic policies and procedures into practice and ensure they are followed
• Build short- and long-term operational plans and goals for the rehab department
• Manage daily staffing, scheduling, and resource planning
• Oversee supply purchasing and keep department costs under control
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training new team members
• Track monthly performance metrics and complete timely performance reviews
• Run regular team and clinic meetings
• Conduct quality audits and lead process improvement initiativesUphold patient and employee rights, and model the organization's behavioral standards
• Become proficient in the clinic's software and documentation systems

What You Bring

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT/DPT)
• Active Arizona Physical Therapist license (or eligibility) and current CPR certification
• 2+ years of outpatient physical therapy experience
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
• Working knowledge of budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and quality management practices (TQM experience a plus)
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, staff, and leadership
• A passion for educating patients and mentoring clinicians
• Ability to meet the physical demands of a clinic setting, including standing, bending, lifting, and patient transfers
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the local community
