Job summary

Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Physical Therapist IRF PRN to join our rehabilitation team. You will assess patients, create personalized therapy plans, and deliver evidence‑based interventions to improve mobility and function.

You will collaborate with physicians, monitor progress, document outcomes, and mentor therapy assistants while upholding our values of excellence, compassion and integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum education required is a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy / Master’s degree preferred.
• Current Missouri professional license or license eligible.
• Basic Cardiac Life Saving (BCLS) – American Heart Assoc.
• Good interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing required.
• New grads accepted.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient abilities and developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team.
• Delivering evidence-based interventions that restore movement, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.
• Monitoring progress, refining therapy plans, and ensuring accurate, timely documentation of outcomes.
• Educating patients and families on exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe practices that promote independence.
