Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapist IRF Acute Float at Research Medical Center to help patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence after illness, injury, or surgery. You will work with physicians and the care team to create personalized therapy plans centered on meaningful goals and outcomes.

You will evaluate patient abilities, deliver evidence-based interventions, monitor progress, educate families, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Current Missouri professional license or license eligible.
• BCLS certification by American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills with clear communication.
• New grads accepted.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Physical Therapist, you play a vital role in helping patients regain strength, restore mobility, and rebuild confidence following illness, injury, or surgery. Working closely with physicians and the care team, you’ll assess each patient’s needs and create personalized therapy plans designed around meaningful goals, active engagement, and exceptional patient outcomes. Your role will include:

• Evaluating patient abilities and developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team

What qualifications you will need:

• Minimum education required is a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy / Master’s degree preferred

• Current Missouri professional license or license eligible.

• Basic Cardiac Life Saving (BCLS) – American Heart Assoc.

• Good interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing required
