Piedmont Macon Medical is seeking a Physical Therapist for inpatient acute rehab in Macon, GA. The role offers a sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

You’ll provide PT services across age groups in a collaborative, technologically advanced setting and contribute to exceptional patient outcomes. Responsibilities include patient evaluations, modality treatments, and care coordination with PT assistants.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (BS/MS/DPT).
• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or compact privileges.
• BLS certification.
• 2 years of experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide physical therapy services for a designated group of patients to reach the highest level of physical independence.
• Conduct evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function and relieve pain.
• Care for patients across pediatric, adult and geriatric ages; supervise staff as needed.

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE:
Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT. Must maintain current CEU's as required by the State.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
None.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia. BLS certification through AHA.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
2 years of experience preferred.
