Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide direct PT services at the Elmhurst site. You will evaluate patients, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement therapies to improve mobility and function.

The position is full-time with varied shifts in a busy orthopedic-focused clinic. We value ongoing professional growth and offer mentorship, with a team of specialists in hand, neuro, vestibular, pelvic health, pediatrics, and lymphedema.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Current State of Illinois Physical Therapist licensure required.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct physical therapy services to patients.
• Develops individualized, effective treatment plans.
• Evaluates patient status and implements therapeutic programs.
• Educates patients to engage them in their own care.
• Keeps up-to-date with new techniques and equipment in physical therapy.

Hourly Pay Range: $38.67 - $59.94 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

Position: Physical Therapist Location: Center for Health Site, 1200 S York St, Elmhurst, IL Full-Time, 40 hours weekly Hours: Clinic operation hours are M-Th 7-7; Fri 7-5:30. One evening shift until 7pm. One Saturday every 4 months from 8am to 12noon.

While our primary population of patients is orthopedic physical therapy, we also offer Occupational and Speech services. We offer specialties in hand, neuro, vestibular, pelvic health, pediatrics, and lymphedema.

What you will do

• Provides direct physical therapy services to patients.
• Demonstrates an appropriate level of clinical skill, as evidenced by the completion of comprehensive and insightful evaluations, and the development of individualized and effective treatment plans designed to achieve precise, functional goals.
• Evaluates patient’s physical and functional status and plans and implements therapeutic programs that include prevention, identification, correction and alleviation of acute or prolonged movement dysfunction of an anatomic or physiologic origin.
• Uses excellent communication skills to educate patients and engage them in their own care.
• Stays updated regarding developments, new techniques, and equipment in the field of physical therapy.
• Maintains a well-rounded knowledge base, and clinical reasoning skills to consistently achieve expected clinical outcomes.

What you will need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy
• Preferred: Master of Science or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
• Current State of Illinois Physical Therapist licensure
• A valid driver’s license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an offsite location.
• If the incumbent uses their personal vehicle, the incumbent must maintain automobile liability coverage as required by law and evidence of such coverage may be requested.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR certification.
• As a Physical Therapist II - minimum of 2 years work experience required
