The role includes evaluating patients, planning and implementing individualized therapy programs, supervising PTAs, and ensuring patient-centered care while maintaining safety and documentation requirements; requires Bachelor’s degree and PA PT licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist upon hire required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in the resident state.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient using diagnostic and prognostic tests of muscles, nerves, joints and functional abilities.
• Plans individualized physical therapy programs including exercises, modalities and procedures.
• Directs and supervises patients in active, active assisted, and passive exercises and functional training.
• Provides instructions for continued therapy by the patient after discharge.
• Coordinates PT activities with the interdisciplinary team to meet goals.
