Schedule: Full Time – 80 hours/pay period – Monday to Friday – 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Scope:

• Responsible for organizing, developing, and directing physical therapy services in accordance with the standards and practice of physical therapy, state and federal regulations, and Vivie's policies and procedures.
• Ensure time management that best utilizes Vivie's resources while meeting client needs.
• Assure that the highest degree of quality care, customer service, fiscal responsibility, and regulatory compliance is maintained at all times.

Education and Experience Required

• Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of Minnesota.
• Must obtain CPR certification within 6 months from date of hire.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and use of an insured personal vehicle.
• Must complete and pass a state required background study.
• Able to communicate verbally and in writing to the extent required by the position.
• Able to physically perform the duties required by the position.
• Required to have the ability to read, write and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, clients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct Client Care - Evaluate clients; obtain and interpret subjective and objective data. Develop treatment plans and programs including short-term and long-term goals in accordance with physician orders.
• Client Records and Billing - Provide accurate and timely documentation of services rendered utilizing agency EMR.
• Communication - Communicate effectively with clients, families, referral sources, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Follow-Up Programs - Recommend and ensure continuation of appropriate therapeutic follow-up programs and activities.
