Job summary

Mercy Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team in Oklahoma City. You will provide comprehensive therapy for adult and geriatric patients, delivering individualized treatment plans under supervision and contributing to patient outcomes.

The role requires a current PT license, BLS certification, and 6 months to 1 year of rehab experience. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered along with Mercy benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current State license of Physical Therapy.
• Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Six months to one year experience preferred in Rehabilitation Physical Therapy.
• Experience with adult and geriatric patients preferred.
• Certifications: BLS certified; must be current to care for patients independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians; supervise PT assistants as appropriate.
• Deliver care that aligns with Mercy mission, values, and service standards.

Under the general supervision of Therapy Leadership and according to departmental policies and procedures regarding referral, standards of treatment, performs objective assessments, as well as comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. Responsible for direct supervision to patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians. General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Position Details

Education: Current State license of Physical Therapy. Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

Licensure: Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.

Experience

Certifications: BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.
