Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Georgia is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. Provides evaluation, treatment, and modalities to restore function and independence for patients across the lifespan in a hospital setting.

You will collaborate with therapists and staff, mentor assistants, and participate in ongoing education to advance care and outcomes. Requires a Georgia PT license or compact, BCLS, and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT.
Must maintain current CEU's as by the State.
Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia.
BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA Required.
2 years of experience Preferred

Responsibilities

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence.
Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury.
Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric.
Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants.
May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.
