Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Georgia seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive therapeutic services across age groups, evaluate, treat, and implement modalities to restore function and reduce pain.

The role requires a current Georgia license or compact privileges, BCLS, CEUs, and 2 years of experience is preferred; you will contribute to patient outcomes and mentor staff when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT.
• Must maintain current CEUs as by the State.
• 2 years of experience (preferred).
• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia.
• BCLS – Basic Life Support through AHA.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach the highest level of physical independence.
• Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury.
• Provides patient care to all age groups, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric.
• Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May also be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.
