Job summary

Bethesda Health Group in Belleville, IL is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver therapy services and drive goal-directed improvements in patient function. You will evaluate, plan, and implement treatment programs, coordinate care with staff, and supervise aides while ensuring timely documentation and discharge planning.

Qualifications include a BS/MS in Physical Therapy, active state licensure, CPR certification (or within six months), and 1–2 years in geriatrics; new grads considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapy license for the state.
• CPR certification, or willing to obtain within six months.
• One to two years of geriatrics experience preferred.
• Qualified new graduates will be considered.
• Strong communication and responsibility with elderly patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Physical Therapy services to patients to improve function.
• Evaluate, plan & implement the treatment program.
• Coordinate programs to achieve highest function for patients.
• Provide caretaker education and discharge planning as needed.
• Document department/patient records within required timeframes.
• Supervise aides and assist with staff orientation.
