Job summary

Jefferson Healthcare Rehabilitation Services in Port Townsend, WA is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients referred for PT. You will guide patients through strength, flexibility, gait training, transfers, and pain relief, using modalities such as heat, cold, and electrical stimulation.

Candidates must hold a WA PT license and have graduated from an accredited PT program (MPT/MS/DPT).

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in WA in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited PT program (MPT, MS, or DPT).
• One+ year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients referred for physical therapy.
• Guide patients through strength, flexibility, muscle re-education, transfers, balance, gait training, pain relief, and use of orthotics/prosthetics.
• Utilize modalities (heat, cold, massage, joint mobilization, electrical stimulation).

In this role, you will evaluate and treat patients referred for physical therapy, guiding them through strength, flexibility, muscle re-education, transfers, balance, gait training, pain relief, and orthotic/prosthetic use. You will also utilize physical modalities, including heat, cold, massage, joint mobilization, and electrical stimulation.

What are we looking for:

• Current Physical Therapist license in good standing from Washington State required
• Graduate of an accredited PT program (MPT, MS, DPT)
• One or more years of experience preferred
• Experience with orthopedics and neurology preferred

Schedule

1.0 FTE (40 hours/week), Day Shift, 0800-1630 (M-F)
