We are currently seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist for a hospital-based rehabilitation position in Washington, working with a diverse inpatient and outpatient caseload. Position Overview

As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients across acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient settings. You will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients improve mobility, restore function, reduce pain, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician referrals.
  • Provide skilled therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, balance training, neuromuscular re-education, and functional mobility training.
  • Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, cardiopulmonary, and medically complex conditions.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, nurses, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
  • Participate in discharge planning and patient/caregiver education.
  • Contribute to program development, departmental initiatives, and quality improvement activities.
  • Present in-service education and participate in continuing professional development opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, Washington state regulations, Medicare requirements, and professional standards of practice.
Qualifications
Required
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Current Washington Physical Therapist License issued by the Washington State Department of Health, or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start date.
  • Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) or eligibility for licensure.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, clinical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Preferred
  • Previous experience in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation, or hospital-based therapy settings.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and hospital documentation standards.
  • Interest in working with a varied patient population across multiple rehabilitation settings.
