Job summary

Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Corporation is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist Float to support Framingham, Wellesley, and Brighton locations. The role includes 8% premium pay and a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000, with 3–4 month stays at each site.

Graduates and licensed therapists will evaluate, treat, and plan care while collaborating with nurses and other staff. The position is onsite with regular duties across Spaulding centers.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program is required.
  • For licensure prior to 2016, a bachelor’s or master’s degree is acceptable; licensure from 2016 onward requires completion of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
  • 1–2 years experience preferred; new grads welcomed.

Responsibilities

  • Completes billing sheet accurately by end of day.
  • Evaluates effects of treatment and adjusts plans for maximum benefit.
  • Performs patient assessments and establishes a plan of care.
  • Supervises PTAs according to policy and state regulations.
  • Discusses evaluation, goals and treatment with patient and family.
  • Participates in hospital-wide quality process improvement.
