Mass General Brigham is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist on a per diem basis at the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Cape and Islands Corporation. The role requires graduation from an accredited PT program and Massachusetts state licensure.

Responsibilities

  • Educate patients and families on treatment goals and exercises.
  • Supervise PTAs according to policy and state regulations.
  • Complete billing sheets and document progress at defined intervals.

Restores Patient Physical Functioning by interpreting physical therapy evaluations and test results; determining physical therapy treatment goals and plans; administering manual exercises; instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities and in using assistive and supportive devices.Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program is required. For licensure prior to 2016, a bachelor's or master's degree is acceptable; licensure from 2016 onward requires completion of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.Does this position require Patient Care?
