Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Corporation is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to assist patients in achieving maximum functional performance. You will interpret evaluations, establish treatment plans, and guide patients in using assistive devices.

The position requires a Physical Therapy degree (DPT preferred) and licensure, with 1–2 years of internship experience preferred. Onsite work location at 100 North Beacon Street and related responsibilities apply.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Internship or apprenticeship 1–2 years preferred
  • Licenses and Credentials: Physical Therapist state license; a valid driver's license preferred

Job Summary

Summary

Assist patients in reaching maximum physical performance while adjusting to disabilities. Restores Patient Physical Functioning by interpreting physical therapy evaluations and test results; determining physical therapy treatment goals and plans; administering manual exercises; instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities and in using assistive and supportive devices.

Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program is required. For licensure prior to 2016, a bachelor's or master's degree is acceptable; licensure from 2016 onward requires completion of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
